Keto Apple Crumble


This is my own adaptation of an old apple crumble recipe. It has come out beautifully!
100g Butter
1/3 Cup xylitol
1 Cup coconut flour
10ml Baking powder
1 Tin unsweetened pie apples
Ground cinnamon
4 Eggs
5ml Vanilla essence
Cream butter and xylitol. Beat eggs and vanilla and add to creamed mixture.
Add flour, baking powder and salt and work until smooth. Press 2/3 of the dough into a greased pie dish. Add drained pie apples, cinnamon and xylitol to taste.
At this point I add roughly another 1/3 cup coconut flour to the remaining dough and beat on high speed with an electric mixer until crumbly. Sprinkle this over the apples and bake at 200c for 20 minutes.
Serve warm with fresh cream ♥
