So Sunday we headed into the Midlands for a Family Sunday Lunch at Brahman Hills.

If you know my hubby , he loves a home cooked Sunday lunch which he normally cooks , so dragging him out, isn’t always easy!
He loves the whole Roasts, veggies, potatoes and gravy story!!

Driving into Brahman Hills is always beautiful , I have done many Bridal Shows here and it really is Picturesque .
Zama behind the reception with whom I had booked with ,was as lovely as she was when we spoke telephonically!
We were taken into the dining area which had 2 beautiful fireplaces crackling on either side.
Welcome Drinks were ordered and we were taken too our table.

One thing for me that is always a BIG draw card is Staff, and let me tell you that Brahman Hills has nailed this!
From the Front of House to the Chef carving the meat , there was only warm smiles and happy faces!
The waiters/waitresses were fantastic , even when my son wanted a different gravy for his meat, the waiter said , don’t worry let me get the chef to make you one that is not so spicy!! That’s service….

We started with entree’s and I loved the cold prawns with their yummy dressing ,bacon and  wrapped asparagus ,and kids enjoyed the sosaties!

One thing during winter ,I love is a good Butternut soup and home-made bread and here again I could not fault them… creamy and so tasty!

I probably would have done away with the stew and added a broccoli and cauliflower dish but that is just me…
Maybe also cut out the chicken pieces as you had Roast Chicken and add Gammon (that is always a winner!)
Also they make a mean Pepper Sauce!

The kids hit the choc mousse and by their choc faces  I could tell it was a hit, I though am a cheesecake fan and had the blueberry cheese cake and it was lovely . They also offered a warm pudding , again maybe just thicken the custard as was a bit runny!!

After lunch , we left 2 of the kids warming in the sunroom with their Books and the resident Cats! They probably could have slept there if asked!

Brent and I and Matt took a lovely walk around the premises which really are so beautiful.
Downstairs they have a beautiful Restaurant called 89 on Copper with a Wine Cellar – that will have to be on the #Bucketlist but then that is when you book in for the night!
